FAQ
Why is my spa not heating?
A common reason for this is that your filters are not clean. Ask yourself...when was the last time I cleaned them? If the answer is longer than 3 weeks, whether or not you have used your spa, then give it a shot cleaning them! Also, try these troubleshooting tips, based on the type of heater in your spa. Other reasons may account for this as well. Your heater may be "tripped" or the heating element may be broken. Before we take a service ticket we strongly advise you trying these troubleshooting instructions!

My cover is extremely heavy! What is going on?
Your cover being heavy has to do with the fact that there is a hole somewhere in the vinyl. The cover is made of 2 pieces of styrophoam and a vinyl outer cover. When a hole is made in the delicate surface, the styrophoam acts like a sponge and soaks all that water up! You can call any of our 3 locations to order a new cover!

A little mouse/rodent has invaded my tub! HELP!
Rodents will try to find a warm home in the winter. Your spa's cozy equipment compartment is an ideal home for them. Call a professional exterminator to get rid of the rodents. Jeff Topper, our service manager, also suggests putting fabric softener sheets like Bounce in your equipment compartment. This may deter the rascals!

How do I clean and maintain my filters?
Your filters should be cleaned as required to maintain water clarity and as preventative maintenance for your spa. The frequency and duration of use, and the number of occupants, all contribute to determining the appropriate time between filter cleanings. The more frequent the use, the more frequent filter cleanings are required.
Regardless of how often or how infrequently your spa is used, Your filter(s) need to be cleaned A MINIMUM OF ONCE A MONTH!!!!
With each MONTHLY cleaning, rotate the position of each filter in the filter compartment. Replace your filters with NEW filters every 2-3 years.
- Once a month, using a hose, rinse your filter(s) with a hard spray of water up and down each pleat. Rotate the filter while spraying to remove any debris lodged between the filter pleats.
- To help maintain clear water, it is recommended that you clean your filters using Filter Cleaner and Degreaser to remove mineral and oil buildup every time you drain or refill your spa.
- If using Filter Cleaner, soak the filter in the degreaser according to the package directions, then place the filter on a clean surface and spray until clean using a garden hose.
- If using an Instant Filter Cleaner, saturate the filter with water and spray cleaner over total surface area for maximum effect. Wait 3 -6 minutes then rinse filter thoroughly with hose. Rotate your filter(s) while spraying to remove any debris lodged between the filter pleats
WARNING: Do not use the spa with the filter cartridges, or standpipe(s) removed!

How do I clean and maintain my Tri-X filters?
Tri-X Filters should be cleaned as required to maintain water clarity and as preventative maintenance for your spa. The frequency and duration of use, and the number of occupants, all contribute to determining the appropriate time between filter cleanings. The more frequent the use, the more frequent filter cleanings are required.
Regardless of how often or how infrequently your spa is used,YOUR FILTERS NEED TO BE CLEANED A MINIMUM OF ONCE A MONTH!!!!
With each MONTHLY cleaning, rotate the position of each filter in the filter compartment. Replace your filters with NEW filters every 2-3 years.
